Triple Duty
|
Real flame resistance in an attack hose is now
available to the firefighting world. No other double jacketed attack hose can
prevent hose failure due to flame exposure like Hi-Temp. It's unique Nomex® and
Kellar® jacket construction makes it the firefighter's lifetime to safety in interior
firefighting situations. It even resists ozone and mildew and requires no
drying. Superior cut and abrasion resistance are responsible for its
outstanding strength and durability. Hi-Temp is virtually indestructible.
- Kevlar and Nomex® outer jacket provides the
best flame, cut, and abrasion resistance of any hose available today!
- Smooth synthetic rubber liner provides low
friction loss
- The tan Dura-Shield treatment provides
additional abrasion resistance and longer service life.

Triple-Duty does it all. It can be used
in the three different applications of fire hose: attack-supply and pumping
manifolds such as standpipe connections. Although lighter than rubber, the
thermoplastic liner tensile strength of 2000 PSI. The result is a tough double
jacket woven hose weighing a lot less than rubber covered supply lines, thereby requiring
less hose bed space.
- The polyamide nylon 6.9 filament contained in
the outside jacket provides superior strength and heat resistance.
- High strength thermoplastic liner reduces hose
weight, greatly improving maneuverability.
- Triple-Duty meets all NFPA supply, relay, and
attack specifications.

Dura-Pak |

N-Dura |
When introduced, Dura-Pak started an
industry-wide trend toward lightweight backpack hose. Because it is so durable, it
has worked front-line attack duties, as well as, lightweight backpack operations ever
since. It reduced the weight a firefighter must handle by as much as 40%. A
coupled 50 foot length of 1-3/4" Dura-Pak weighs about 15 lbs. It is the most
compact, flexible, and best-handling municipal fire hose available.
- Unique design allows Dura-Pak to be packed into
a smaller hose bed space than conventional hose.
- Reverse twill weave inner jacket provides
smooth waterway, delivering the lowest friction loss in it's class
- High strenght thermoplastic liner reduces hose
weight, greatly improving manueurverability.
- The polyamide nylon 6.6 filament contained in
the outside jacket provides superior strength and heat resistance.
- The orange, yellow, red, or green Dura-Shield
protective treatment provides additional abrasion resistance and longer service life.

-Dura shows an outstanding record of
durability and value: 20 years of fire ground experience and millions of feet sold
prove that it is one of America's favorites. This rubber lined 100% synthetic hose
has extinguished fires in every state, on and off-shore for the largest cities and the
smallest rural volunteer fire departments. N-Dura is the best value in the premium
double jacket hose category all over the world.
- N-Dura can be operated at -36 degree F.
- The Dura-Shield treatment provides additional
abrasion resistance, longer service life, and color coding: tan, orange, yellow,
red, or green.
- Smooth synthetic rubber liner provides low
friction loss.
- SBR rubber lining is a single ply extruded
tube, compounded to be ozone resistant.
