Sidewinder® Remote Controlled Wildland Monitor
Designed as a front bumper turret monitor to be used in
wildland firefighting operations - Constructed of durable,
lightweight Elk-O-Lite - Flow efficient 2.0" vaned waterway
- Choose from three constant flow nozzle sizes for flows of 15
to 350 GPM - Stainless steel worm gears fully enclosed for
protection from the elements - Vertical travel 150 degrees, (90
degrees above to 60 below horizontal) - Horizontal travel
available either 180 degrees or 334 degrees (please specify) -
Double ball races with stainless steel bearings - Electric gear
motors totally enclosed and sealed - Manual override in the
event of power failure - Operating voltage 12VDC or 24VDC with
maximum draw of 4 amps - 2.0" NPT female inlet - 1.5"
NHT male outlet - Finish red acrylic/ urethane enamel - Control
System Includes: One (1) epoxy encapsulated control module,
one (1) weather tight control box with 4 double throw toggle
switches (water on/off, monitor up/down, monitor right/left, and
nozzle straight/fog), and three (3) wiring harnesses with
waterproof connectors - Optional joy stick control box available
at additional cost (please specify) |

and right/left; and nozzle pattern, straight/fog. |

Joystick Control Box is slightly larger than Standard Control
Box and also mounts inside or out, but monitor, nozzle and water
supply are controlled with a joystick. |

Control Module comes with waterproof connectors, solid state
circuitry, and is completely encapsulated in epoxy for maximum
protection. |
