This revolutionary master stream nozzle has its own built-in foam educator so it can be used for either water application or foam application. By simply attaching the Hydro-Foam to your existing fixed or portable monitor you have an instant foam station. Attach one to the deck gun on your pumper and you have foam capabilities similar to a crash truck. The Hydro-Foam is ideal for those situations where greater application rates are necessary for containment and/or extinguishment of large spills while using AFFF; or for containment and/or extinguishment of structure fires while using Class A Foam. The Hydro-Foam was designed, developed, and field tested by firefighting specialists. Since its introduction to the fire service 15 years ago, it has been used successfully to extinguish many flammable liquid fires in storage tanks, on barges, at loading terminals, and on numerous spills. The UL listed Hydro-Foam has proven itself time after time on the fireground. The Hydro-Foam is available in two gallonages. The HF-350 is pre-set for 6% proportioning and can be easily changed to 1/2, 1 or 3%. The HF-500 is pre-set for 3% proportioning and can be easily changed to 1/2, or 1%. Each model is furnished with a 9 ft. length of clear vinyl pick-up hose. These nozzles are constructed of rugged brass alloys making them impervious to corrosion. They are furnished with a 2.5" swivel inlet and are available in either cast brass or chrome plated finish.
